Murder at Machrie Point

Murder at Machrie Point.

Edith Stone's friends think her writing is a joke. But before she begins the final chapter, death comes to her house at Machrie Point, and the laughter stops.

Detective Inspector Jack Guilford has watched life pass him by in the quiet South Devon town of Dartmouth. So when the house at Machrie Point is the scene for murder, he cannot wait to take on the case. The question is, can he prevent murder becoming a habit?

A whodunit now available on Amazon Kindle.

For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed reading "Whodunits". From Sherlock Holmes to Inspector Rebus and Poirot, the detectives always come out on top, but of course the criminals always get the best parts.

"Murder at Machrie Point is set in modern times, but the the setting is the historic port of Dartmouth in south Devon. In recent years I have spent many happy days exploring the town and making friends. Machrie Point itself is located somewhere between Dartmouth, Stoke Flemming and my vivid imagination. Many of the other locations in the book can be found in and around the town or nearby villages.
